Having created and run a successful music website for over five years (SouledUp), I finally took the plunge of an e-commerce site for an idea that had been kicking around in my head for a while.I decided to register the domain names wireface.com and.co.uk, and chose Freewind to host the solution as they seemed to be very knowledgeable about online stores.

After receiving their recommendation on the software to purchase, I did this and they helped me to install it onto the web server as it was a tricky task, and something I wouldn’t have been able to do alone.
The software company wanted to charge $75 to do this, but Freewind did it for me instead, and for no extra cost.

For someone who has only had front end experience, they were also very helpful in discussing with me things about <%= Html.ActionLink("SSL certificates", "Index", "sslcertificates") %>, another thing I had limited knowledge of. They also applied the certificate to my new software, and saved me weeks of what would have been a potential nightmare for me!

Suffice to say, the installation was extremely smooth, and I have now started using the software to populate my new site which will start trading around Feb/March 2010.

I highly recommend Freewind as a hosting and solutions company, and will be using them again for other projects I am doing for myself and private clients in 2010. Not only do they have the technology to become a major hosting player, they are also incredibly helpful which is a major factor for any new business.
